Applying For Aid
Individuals are to pick up food orders at one of the 4 food pantries. A referral letter from “232-HELP” is required each month. Individuals can obtain only one order of food per month, per household. Each pantry keeps records and reports to Foodnet monthly. If Foodnet finds an individual collecting food from more than one pantry in a month, they will lose their privileges to receive food.
232-HELP will fax the letter to the pantry, but the client is responsible for follow-up. The pantry will not call a client to inform him or her that a letter has been received. 232-HELP chooses the pantry location for the client.
